The Timbers face Sonoma County Sol in the second round of the US Open Cup on Tuesday. Sonoma plays in the National Premier Soccer League, a national amateur league which plays at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. They won their first round game 5-2 against the Orange County Blues Stars. Sonoma sits at the top of their table in the NPSL with six wins and one tie. Hopefully, Portland's hot streak will continue because a win would pit Portland against arch rival Seattle Sounders on June 30th at PGE Park. Come on boys bring us a victory tonight!

  1. Taking on a big time underdog on the road? This could be a trap game. The motivation to advance in the cup and take on Seattle should help them take the win.

  2. I hope Ptown is focused to get this last raod win. I want those Seattle pigs right here back in PGE park where we can slaughter them and their children! Blood makes the grass grow or in our case makes the turf more shiny!

  3. Seattle pig blood is full of smog from freeway traffic jams. We'd have to replace the turf. Good opportunity to put in a grass field.

  4. Good point Dan. I guess, I sometimes forget how nasty Stinkattle really is. I am trying to think of what good will come of Seattle fans coming to Ptown, maybe the low grade black tar heroin they bring, or the disease infested hookers? Both can be positive aspects in some circles.

  5. The only good thing about Seattle is the Sonics.
