Deal approved, but still waiting on City Council vote. I'm feeling better about it going through. Just one more layer.
ReplyDeleteI am not looking forward to the finger-pointing as the looming vagrancy of the Beavers approaches.
Paulson has vision and so do the rest of us in the know. Sometimes we have to lookm twenty years down the road and imagine Portland with an MLS team and without. This deal take much of the liablity off the city's hands and should be a no brainer. Could you imagine that back in the sixties the city would decide it didn't want the Blazers. How sad would that have been? Right now we can do something that will make Ptown better, it is in our hands.
