Puerto Rico loses, but they kept it close enough. They could go off for 4-5 goals at home.
ReplyDeleteMontreal looks dangerous right now, the red card played a big factor in the outcome of the game, but still, the Timbers probably wouldn't mind avoiding the Impact, especially a 2nd round match up.
So I guess the only thing left to say now is.... GO WHITECAPS!
I would like to face Vancouver too. If they won our first game would be next Thursday in Vancouver. Next week is the first week of the term at PSU, I already have this great excuse for missing class. I will kindly explain to the professor that this is an awesome opportunity to see a match and besides that my drinking problem wills it. Done and done!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter who the Timbers play, the Impact, the Islanders, the Battery, they're going to win. The Timbers don't need to avoid anyone. We're the best team in the league.
ReplyDeleteGood win by Vancouver, they're not a bad team at all, and Marlon James is a quality.
ReplyDeleteHBK - the Timbers can beat anybody in the league, they won the Commissioner's Cup, but some matchups are better than others and why not hope for an easier path. Better than playing Charleston or Montreal first. Plus, it'd be awesome to take a trip up to BC.
I agree HBK. I'm not even going to bother watching these scrubs as they prepare for a TIMBERS BEATDOWN.
ReplyDeleteVANCOUVER HERE I COME!
Hey everybody let's all....hold our horses, now guys, come on whoa Nelly. It's good that Vancouver is heading to Carolina with a 1 goal cushion, unfortunately that might not be enough, Carolina's gonna be tough at home. If Vancouver scores an early goal first that would help...alot. Can't wait for Sunday.
ReplyDeleteSunday will be fun!
