Steve Cronin goes international in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals

DC united was in Mexico today playing in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals against Toluca at the Estadio Nemesio Diez. Cronin had some big saves and the only goal he gave up came off a PK in a 1-1 draw. Steve was also instrumental in DC's only goal DC, which he helped setup with a monster goal kick. No Major League Soccer team has ever won a game on Mexican soil. United's fate in this cup now resides with Marathon of Honduras, if they lose or tie on Thursday will decide who advances. Video highlights and a killer soundtrack below...

  1. Fuck YEAH. Cronin is the man. I always love it when he boots it way down the pitch. That big boot paid off for DC.

  2. Cronin is getting all kinds of experience playing for DC. The regular season games are must wins and playing in Mexico is a test for any US player. This is great for us and Cronin!
