Timbers' woes continue with 2-1 road loss

A second half penalty goal by Pore wasn't a big enough break for the Timbers to avenge their recent home loss to Baltimore. Keita took a hard foul in the box in the 61st minute, leading to Pore's penalty kick goal.  Unfortunately, Keita was out for the remainder of the match, and the 1-0 lead wasn't enough.  Baltimore tied the game in the 73rd minute, off a goal by midfielder Dan Lader.    Then, in stoppage time, the Timbers once again allowed a late goal when Randi Patterson slipped through the defense for the game winner.

Fantasy standings and match ratings will be up soon.   The replay is not yet available for those who missed the match.

  1. Boys gotta get some pride and start fighting back. They're really getting bullied around. It seems as if that's the scouting reporting out on us, that we're soft.

  2. I can see some head hunting happening in the next few games, as the boys try to prove they are not push overs.
